Paper Prints Policy

Paper Prints Policy for Integrated Business and Financial Studies

Purpose

This policy outlines the procedures for students in the Integrated Business and Financial Studies program to print academic papers.

Scope

This policy applies to all students in the Integrated Business and Financial Studies program, regardless of their year of study or program of specialization.

Policy

Students in the Integrated Business and Financial Studies program are entitled to print a maximum of 100 pages per semester of academic papers. This includes all papers submitted for coursework, as well as any papers presented at conferences or published in academic journals.

To print academic papers, students must submit their papers to the program's administrative assistant. The administrative assistant will then print the papers and distribute them to the students.

Students are responsible for the cost of printing their academic papers. The current printing rate is $0.10 per page. Students can pay for printing using their student ID cards.

Exceptions

Students may request to print more than 100 pages per semester if they have a valid reason. For example, students who are presenting their research at a conference or publishing their research in an academic journal may request to print additional copies of their papers.

To request an exception to the printing policy, students must submit a written request to the program director. The program director will review the request and make a decision on a case-by-case basis.

Enforcement

Students who violate the printing policy may be subject to disciplinary action. This includes, but is not limited to, a warning, a reduction in their printing quota, or suspension from the program.

Additional Notes

  • Students are encouraged to print their academic papers double-sided to reduce paper consumption and costs.
  • Students are also encouraged to use electronic resources whenever possible. Many academic journals and conferences now offer electronic versions of their publications.
  • Students should be aware that there is a limit to the number of pages that can be printed from the program's printers. If a student needs to print a large number of pages, they should contact the program director to make arrangements.
